You are bidding for original vintage, classy and elegant jumbo 🏇 Hermès Étrier, made by Jaeger-LeCoultre (similar to JLC ref. 9041.21), solid 18k gold men’s wristwatch, circa 1950s.The name Étrier literally means “stirrup,” and the lugs are shaped accordingly. Not decorative, but intentional – a direct reference to Hermès’ equestrian roots and its origins as a saddler to the Parisian elite. You notice it immediately on the wrist, and once you see it, you can’t unsee it. Inside, a slim and reliable manual-winding Jaeger-LeCoultre calibre 818 – from the period when JLC was supplying movements to the most important names in watchmaking.Yellow gold case with excellent proportions at 28.5 × 42 mm, wearing larger than expected thanks to the rectangular profile and long Étrier-shaped lugs. Soft ivory dial remains untouched, showing honest and attractive aging. Caseback signed Hermès Paris, SN 176427. That dual signature is the whole story – Paris on the outside, Vallée de Joux inside.
