An iconic Galliano-era Dior coat from the Fall 1998 ready-to-wear collection. The hallmark is its dramatic, scarf-like shawl collar with a fringed edge. Designed to be styled multiple ways: worn off the shoulders, draped across the neckline, or wrapped high as a funnel scarf. This collar became a Galliano signature across his early haute couture seasons and was spotlighted again in the Dior Fall 1998 campaign on Kate Moss, making pieces with this detail highly collectible. Design notes Soft light blue-grey suiting with beautiful drape. Oversized convertible shawl collar with fringed finish, multiple styling configurations (see on-body photos).
