These one-of-a-kind upcycled, colourful zipper pouches were lovingly handmade by a skilled artisan in Pondicherry, India. Each pouch purchased from this listing includes a large zipper pouch made from a recycled rice sack, each adorned with colourful images and text.

Each one is unique, made from upcycled rice sacks (the rice sacks are throughout India), so each design is unique. Bright colours, bold prints, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and other Indian scripts, and even cooking instructions make each of these pouches truly one-of-a-kind. Each recycled rice sack pouch has a high quality zipper to secure the items you keep inside. The inside of each pouch is lined with sari or upcycled cotton fabric.

The pouches are strong, and each outer surface can be wiped clean with a wet cloth. These bags are great for storing brushes, pens, pencils, cosmetics, school supplies, loose cash, coins or receipts, or anything else you fancy.
